The national ‘Be Clear on Cancer’ bowel cancer awareness campaign went live on the 30th January 2012 and will run until the end of March 2012. The Department of Health campaign aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer and ultimately improve early diagnosis of bowel cancer.

Important News!Following a review of the NLCN's functions, it has been decided to split the Network into separate groups representing the two roles the Network has served: Commissioning and Providing.
The Cancer Commissioning functions will be undertaken by the North Central London and West Essex Cancer Commissioning Network, as part of NHS North Central London, while the Provider functions will be responsibility of the UCL Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.
This web site will remain as it is for the time being, but its content will eventually be moved to those of the respective organisations. There will be further announcements here prior to any substantial changes.
