To improve the experience and outcomes for patients with suspected or diagnosed cancer by optimising care delivery systems across the whole pathway of care.
The Cancer Services Collaborative ‘Improvement Partnership’ (CSC IP) is a national NHS-funded programme designed to drive improvements in the way cancer services are delivered to patients. The programme provides practical support to local clinical teams enabling them to review their own services and assisting in implementing improvements to the patient experience and clinical outcomes.
The techniques we employ can be found here.
We assist the teams to redesign patient pathways and the way that care is delivered, which in turn supports the delivery of the cancer plan targets. For further information on cancer waiting times, follow this link. And for the FAQs are here
We are a team of service improvement facilitators who work in the North London Cancer Network as part of the Cancer Service Collaborative Improvement Partnership. Some service improvement facilitators are based centrally within the cancer network and some are based within the trusts in the network.
We work closely with our colleagues in the network on all aspects of the patients’ experience.
